Instructed by the clients project manager to upgrade the internal doors from 44mm Flax board core to 54mm solid timber core doors & to upgrade the internal ironmongery. All works took place within the live patient wards & communal areas which required the strict movement of materials & site personnel. Secure hoardings were required to create a safe place of work for the site personnel & safe secure areas for the patients & to eliminate any means of self-harm or destruction by the residents. Daily progress meetings were held between site management & the hospital management to evaluate any specific issues that had arisen over the previous 24hrs & to inform the hospital of the next new section of site works. All works where completed & handed over within the contract period & to the standard of J3 Projects Ltd.
