Pre-Discharge Unit & Hindsford Ward
Partnerships in Care have awarded J3 Projects Ltd the contract to convert their existing training house into a seven bedroom / ensuite pre-discharge unit. This conversion has involved major demolitions to the existing structure, new build extensions to the side & rear & a new roof structure.
The refurbishment of the Hindsford will commence after the 1st phase of Arbury Court, Warrington has been handed over by Eric Wright Construction on November 6th. The schedule of works within this ward is minimal with new floor & walls finishes. Minor construction works will be implicated with the demolition of an internal wall & the re-location of the communal kitchen which will involve mechanical & electrical services.
Our remit was to execute the new healthcare standards such as the installation of security glass, contraband mess and anti-ligature ironmongery to provide some you with some examples. We are working directly with Gilling Dod Architects, the client’s design consultant, & with Holden & Lee, the project manager & cost consultant to whom we have the greatest of respect.
